About Mubtadaʾ
Mubtadaʾ is a private grammar tutor for people who already read the Qur'an and were never shown how its grammar works.
The name
In Arabic grammar the mubtadaʾ is the word a nominal sentence begins with — the subject everything else is said about. It also simply means “the beginning”. Both are the point: this is where understanding starts, and you are the subject of every lesson.
How it teaches
You are placed in three minutes: you say where you left off and two short checks confirm it, so nobody sits through what they already know. From there, Hādī — the tutor — writes each ten-minute session for you, grounded in a standard grammar reference and built around the mistakes you actually make. Real verses, parsed word by word. Answers typed, not tapped. Review that comes back exactly when you are about to forget.
What it is not
It is not a reading course: if you cannot yet read vocalized Arabic, the first screen says so and points you to one. It is not religious guidance. And it is not a replacement for a teacher — it is the patient one you can open at 6 a.m.
The mark
The medallion is the rubʿ al-ḥizb ۞, the sign that divides the Qur'an into the parts a reader moves through — two squares, one turned, with a point at the centre for the beginning.
